WHAT HAPPENS TO MY NOTES IF I CANCEL?

Your notes are always your notes – we won’t keep your records hostage.

We will manually send you ALL of your records in a usable digital format.

          

DO I NEED TO MERGE MY PREVIOUS FILES?

 

Absolutely not!

That would be a ton of work, overwhelming and not necessary.

Simply start using ChiroSimple for all notes going forward.  For a little while, you’ll have ‘mixed’ notes (your old notes and your world-class ChiroSimple notes).  This is only a bit inconvenient if someone requests records for those patients.

Eventually, as you continue to use ChiroSimple, you’ll eventually phase out the old mixed files and have mostly all ChiroSimple files.

HOW DO I LEVERAGE CHIROSIMPLE TO GROW MY PRACTICE?

World class notes, get noticed.

After every new patient, create an Initial Report. Then, immediately email the report right from ChiroSimple to the pet’s primary veterinarian, a nearby human chiropractor (who doesn’t work on animals) or any other potential referral source.  It won’t be long before they begin to regard you as the authority animal chiropractor. Not to mention, it’s likely no one else is doing this, which will separate you from the rest.

Additionally, when you see a pet whose owner you believe is an “influencer,” consider emailing them your initial report (right from ChiroSimple) along with a personalized message, that might read: “Dear Mary, I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how nice it was meeting you and having the pleasure to treat Bella, she’s so sweet!  I thought you might like a copy of my notes from her first visit for your own records.  Looking forward to helping the two of you enjoy many more quality years together. – Dr. Someone”

DOES THIS EHR WORK FOR HORSES?

 

Yes!  And, it’s amazing.  Oh, not only does ChiroSimple work for horses, but it works for any species!  

If you’d like to do your notes on-site at a barn (for example), provided you have CELL PHONE SERVICE (ie: you can make calls), all you have to do is use your phone as a Personal Hot-Spot and you’ll never have to worry about losing your notes.

ChiroSimple is an internet/cloud-based program, which requires an internet connection.  This way, you don’t have to worry about ever losing your notes!  We designed it this way to protect you. In the event you drop your device in a puddle of water or it falls out of your bag, you’ll never have to worry – your notes will always be there for you.
 
If you wanted to take your device on the go, this can be accomplished by using your mobile phone as a hotspot or adding your tablet (with 4G LTE capability) to your cell phone carrier plan – works amazing!  Using your phone as a hotspot is easy, all you’ll need is cell phone service (the ability to make/receive phone calls). So, if you wanted to, you could take your laptop/tablet anywhere and connect via Wi-FI, use your phone as a hotspot or attach it to your cell phone plan and mess with nothing (simplest way).
 
Our program was designed with one primary purpose – to help animal chiropractors generate the nicest, most complete/compliant notes, effortlessly – and we certainly have done that!  Feel free to compare our notes to any others out there, our customers agree, the difference is obvious.
CAN I USE IT IN A BARN?

We have 2-options for those who need a solution in areas without WI-FI (such as at a barn or a house-call).

Option #1 (IF you have cell phone service):

If you’d like to do your notes on-site at a barn (for example), provided you have CELL PHONE SERVICE (ie: you can make calls), all you have to do is use your phone as a Personal Hot-Spot or alternatively, if your tablet has built in 4G LTE capability, you could add your device to with your cell phone carrier and have a connection everywhere you go (provided you have cell phone service coverage).

We call it – TempNotes
Use TempNotes to quickly keep track of your appointment findings, while away from your computer, or when you’re without wi-fi/cellular signal. An easy solution for taking with you to house/barn-calls.
 
TempNotes are available for every ChiroSimple member.  To find them, just click on ‘Clinic Resources’ at the top of your program.
 
Simply print the TempNotes as you need, jot down relevant info during your visit and later (once you return to your electronic device or signal) simply transfer the note to ChiroSimple.
 
ChiroSimple notes are easily created in less than 2-minutes. Many docs using our program are easily able to complete notes
in well under 60-seconds! 
 
PRO-TIP:  Have an assistant?  Simply hand them your TempNotes and have them create the note for you.  TempNotes follow the flow of a ChiroSimple note perfectly, so it’ll make sense and be easy to transfer over.

WHAT SPECIES CAN I CREATE NOTES FOR USING CHIROSIMPLE?

ChiroSimple will support notes for any species!

 Although, ChiroSimple is primarily suited for Horses, Dogs and Cats.

CAN I USE CHIROSIMPLE ON ALL DEVICES?
Our program was designed to be used on a DESKTOP, LAPTOP and TABLET (like an iPad, for example) and those devices will give you the best experience.  Some features work very well on cell phones, but cell phone compatibility is not supported by us. Our outmost concern is quality balanced with efficiency. What works very well from cell phones is sending records to referrers or even taking notes!  Although, we don’t feel professional notes should be created on a phone – but, you could.

WHERE ARE ALL MY NOTES AND ATTACHMENTS STORED?

All your notes and attachments are stored in the same place as your custom ChiroSimple website – with ChiroSimple’s disaster-proof, cloud-based, secure servers.

 

CAN CANADIAN DOCTORS USE CHIROSIMPLE WITHOUT CONCERN FOR PATIENT DATA SECURITY RULES?
Canadians can use ChiroSimple without concern of violating any Canadian privacy (or server regulations) restrictions.
 
The reason for this, is that the none of the information stored with ChiroSimple is governed by PHIPA, in that, it’s ONLY animal health information and NO HUMAN HEALTH information is recorded.
 
Additionally, STANDARD OF PRACTICE S-022 (https://www.cco.on.ca/wpcontent/uploads/2017/10/S-022.pdf) does not apply, since it (once again) was designed for HUMAN HEALTH INFO, not animals.  Albeit, these are great practices for protecting information and at a clinic level, we would strongly suggest our members follow this information as guidelines for security.
 
Rest assured, ChiroSimple will never share any of your information with anyone, unless of course we were court ordered to do so and at that point would likely discuss with you what to do.  Our customers always come first.
 
Extensive, ongoing efforts are made to ensure security for our members info and our servers.  We use the best security and backup your data regularly, so you can sleep without concern.
 
There is a misunderstood rumor (which is just that and not validated) that Canadian doctors would be in violation, if using online practice tool companies whose servers are located outside of Canada. We have spoken with a representative from the International Privacy Commissioner of Ontario to triple check and to alleviate all concerns our Canadian doctors have, and that concern is absolutely false and not true. In fact, not only is that not true for animal doctors, but this is not the case for any doctor seeing HUMAN patients, either. 
 
To clarify, Canadian doctors CAN use any service outside of Canada with information stored outside of Canada, provided they (and YOU) follow the same security measures as Canadians do – and we do.
 
We are aligned with the leading animal chiro school in Canada and have many customers there, who are comfortable using us as their office program. Many of whom also did their own research.
 
In summary:  Canadian doctor need not worry at all about joining ChiroSimple – we are compliant and therefor you are too!

 

CAN I ADD MORE THAN ONE PROVIDER?

Each ChiroSimple subscription is tied to a single provider.  However, anyone you give your username and password to, could assist you with your notes and/or manage your records (such as your assistant).  

If you’ve got more than one treating doctor in your office and would like them to also use ChiroSimple, you’ll need to order a second account for them.  We’ll assist you with setting it up the same way, and may even be able to help you with duplicating some of your current data over to their account to make life a little easier.  Just ask us for help.

MY PATIENT HAS X-RAYS. HOW DO I ADD THEM TO THE PET'S CHART?

First search for the pet using the search bar.  When you find the pet, click on the button to the far right of the pet’s name.  That will bring you to the pet’s profile.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page.  In the ADD ATTACHMENT box, you will add a title and description of the particular X-Ray, choose the particular file and click on ADD ATTACHMENT. You can also use this feature to add other documents, such as vet records, intake/consent forms, ect.

I HAVE A PATIENT THAT BITES. CAN I SET ALERTS?

Dr. Kremer specifically created the ALERT feature for this reason.

To enter an ALERT about the pet, go to the pet’s profile by searching for the specific pet using the search function. 

Click the ADD ALERT icon to add an alert (you can add as many as you like or delete them). Now every time you go to create a new report for this pet, there will be an ALERT symbol next to the pets name, letting you know that this pet has an alert. With the ALERT feature, you can prepare yourself with specific alerts about the pet, such as “does not like feet touched”, “Just had Rt TPLO surgery 5 days ago”, “very aggressive”, “owner needs help getting pet out of their car”, etc.

And, if ever you are on vacation and another locum doc is filling in for you, they too will see this.

IT SAYS MY SITE IS NOT SECURE?
When visiting your custom ChiroSimple login, you may notice that your web browser has a “not secure” icon or may even give you a very scary warning message, telling you not to proceed. That message is expected and normal, and not nearly as scary as it appears.
 
We use standard SSL encryption for all pages that require you to enter sensitive information like credit cards and account information and standard HTTP for logging in. Your phone / tablet / web browser don’t realize that you’re not entering in credit card information and so are warning you not to. If you ever see such warnings on a website that is asking for financial information steer clear — you won’t find that with ChiroSimple.
 
To avoid this, make sure the full/complete address for your site does not contain the “S” in “HTTP”.  So, it should look like:
http://yoursitename.chirosimple.com instead of https://yoursitename.chirosimple.com.

Technical Info

I JUST SIGNED UP, BUT THE LINK TO MY LOGIN IS GIVING ME AN ERROR?

Please ignore the login info you received immediately upon registration,

Within 24-72 hours, we will email you, your login details and confirmation your program is ready.   We appreciate your patience. Each and every EHR program is customized, so we need just a bit of time to build yours. We promise, it’ll be worth the short wait.

I FORGOT MY PASSWORD, HOW DO I RESET IT?

The very first thing you should do, is close / restart your browser (ie: Google Chrome, Safari), or open a different browser than you’re currently using (switch temporarily from Chrome to Safari, if you’ve be using Chrome). Ideally open a new tab in that browser in an Incognito Mode/Private Browsing Mode.  (Google that for help if you don’t know how).

Resetting passwords

Resetting passwords involves going to the ChiroSimple main site, so we recommend you do this in incognito mode, so you don’t get this error.

Step 1

In Incognito browser ([Ctrl]+[Shift]+[N] for Chrome, [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[P] for Firefox and maybe Safari):

go to your personal website, yoursitename.chirosimple.com and attempt to log in. Click on “forgot password

Step 2

This takes you to chirosimple.com (main site). Enter in the email address (you used to sign up) again. This will send you an email.

Step 3

Go to your email to see the support email that was just sent. Copy/paste it to the incognito window where you have your personal ChiroSimple site at the login page. Fill out the new password there.

NOTE: Password must be at least 12 characters long and consists of letters, numbers and symbols with as few English words as possible.

Step 4

When completed, close the incognito window and attempt to log in immediately to your site ON THE FIRST/ORIGINAL BROWSER (clicking “remember me” etc).

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM: If you think you have the password right, but aren’t able to log in, you may be dealing with a  “cookie caching bug”. We’ve found that clicking on the Client Info page will work, but the other pages won’t.
SOLUTION: try it in a new incognito window OR close your browser, completely, then start it up again.
SOLUTION: go to chirosimple.com/wp-admin (main site). hover over your name on the top right. click “logout”. got back to yoursitename.chirosimple.com

TO UPDATE YOUR CREDIT CARD/BILLING INFO:

STEP #1: Make sure you’re logged out of your custom ChiroSimple program and open a NEW PRIVATE BROWSING tab in your browser.

STEP #2: In the URL address bar (very top), copy and paste this web address (below this sentence) and hit, Enter.

STEP #3: Login using YOUR same ChiroSimple login credentials (username & password) you use to login to your custom program.

Once you’re logged in, ignore anything you see on that page and go directly back to the URL address bar at the top and copy/paste this address into it:  https://chirosimple.com/membership-account/membership-billing/

This should bring you directly to your billing account page, where you can update your billing info.

STEP #4: Make sure to LOG OUT after you’re done.  To do this, hover over your name at the top right corner in the black bar and select, Log Out.

Note: When the options come up, you may have to scroll to the right to see the option “Add to Home screen.”  It’s often hidden to the right.

Also, make sure to select your dashboard page as the icon address.  This way, when you click it and login, it will bring you directly to your dashboard.  You’ll do this, by making sure you’re on that page when you begin the steps in the video.

CAN I USE CHIROSIMPLE ON ALL DEVICES?
Our program was designed to be used on a DESKTOP, LAPTOP and TABLET (like an iPad, for example) and those devices will give you the best experience.  Some features work very well on cell phones, but cell phone compatibility is not supported by us. Our outmost concern is quality balanced with efficiency. What works very well from cell phones is sending records to referrers or even taking notes!  Although, we don’t feel professional notes should be created on a phone – but, you could.
 
ChiroSimple is an internet/cloud-based program, which requires an internet connection.  This way, you don’t have to worry about ever losing your notes! We designed it this way to protect you. In the event you drop your device in a puddle of water or it falls out of your bag, you’ll never have to worry – your notes will always be there for you.
 
If you wanted to take your device on the go, this can also be accomplished by using your mobile phone as a hotspot or adding your tablet (with 4G LTE capability) to your cell phone carrier plan – works amazing!  Using your phone as a hotspot is easy, all you’ll need is cell phone service (the ability to make/receive phone calls). So, if you wanted to, you could take your laptop/tablet anywhere and connect via Wi-FI, use your phone as a hotspot or attach it to your cell phone plan and mess with nothing (simplest way).
 
Our program was designed with one primary purpose – to help animal chiropractors generate the nicest, most complete/compliant notes, effortlessly – and we certainly have done that!  Feel free to compare our notes to any others out there, our customers agree, the difference is obvious.

 

CAN I USE CHIROSIMPLE IN A BARN?

We have 2-options for those who need a solution in areas without WI-FI (such as at a barn or a house-call).

Option #1 (IF you have cell phone service):

If you’d like to do your notes on-site at a barn (for example), provided you have CELL PHONE SERVICE (ie: you can make calls), all you have to do is use your phone as a Personal Hot-Spot or alternatively, if your tablet has built in 4G LTE capability, you could add your device to with your cell phone carrier and have a connection everywhere you go (provided you have cell phone service coverage).

in well under 60-seconds! 
 
PRO-TIP:  Have an assistant?  Simply hand them your TempNotes and have them create the note for you.  TempNotes follow the flow of a ChiroSimple note perfectly, so it’ll make sense and be easy to transfer over.

IT SAYS MY SITE IS NOT SECURE?
When visiting your custom ChiroSimple login, you may notice that your web browser has a “not secure” icon or may even give you a very scary warning message, telling you not to proceed. That message is expected and normal, and not nearly as scary as it appears.
 
We use standard SSL encryption for all pages that require you to enter sensitive information like credit cards and account information and standard HTTP for logging in. Your phone / tablet / web browser don’t realize that you’re not entering in credit card information and so are warning you not to. If you ever see such warnings on a website that is asking for financial information steer clear — you won’t find that with ChiroSimple.
 
To avoid this, make sure the full/complete address for your site does not contain the “S” in “HTTP”.  So, it should look like:
http://yoursitename.chirosimple.com instead of https://yoursitename.chirosimple.com.
WHERE ARE ALL MY NOTES AND ATTACHMENTS STORED?

All your notes and attachments are stored in the same place as your custom ChiroSimple website – with ChiroSimple’s disaster-proof, cloud-based, secure servers.

 

WHICH WEB BROWSER IS BEST TO USE WITH CHIROSIMPLE?

Google Chrome is fully supported. (Recommended) – Works Best

Mozilla Firefox is moderately supported. – Should work fine.
Safari is moderately supported. – Should work fine.
Internet Explorer is unsupported. – Expect some minor-moderate issues; Not recommended

MY PATIENT HAS X-RAYS. HOW DO I ADD THEM TO THE PET'S CHART?

First search for the pet using the search bar.  When you find the pet, click on the button to the far right of the pet’s name.  That will bring you to the pet’s profile.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page.  In the ADD ATTACHMENT box, you will add a title and description of the particular X-Ray, choose the particular file and click on ADD ATTACHMENT. You can also use this feature to add other documents, such as vet records, intake/consent forms, ect.

I HAVE A PATIENT THAT BITES. CAN I ADD AN ALERT?

Dr. Kremer specifically created the ALERT feature for this reason.

To enter an ALERT about the pet, go to the pet’s profile by searching for the specific pet using the search function. 

Click the ADD ALERT icon to add an alert (you can add as many as you like or delete them). Now every time you go to create a new report for this pet, there will be an ALERT symbol next to the pets name, letting you know that this pet has an alert. With the ALERT feature, you can prepare yourself with specific alerts about the pet, such as “does not like feet touched”, “Just had Rt TPLO surgery 5 days ago”, “very aggressive”, “owner needs help getting pet out of their car”, etc.

And, if ever you are on vacation and another locum doc is filling in for you, they too will see this.

CAN I GET MY WHOLE REPORT TO FIT ON 1-PAGE?
 

Perhaps!  If you’re finding that your digital signature or your footer/office info is printing on a separate page, you can simply reduce the printing scale a bit to make it all fit. You’ll do this in the print window that pops up right after you click, “print.”  Whether you’re on a mac or pc, just look for the “scale” setting.

Here’s the instructions on a mac:

Scale a document to fit your printer’s paper

You can scale a document to fit the paper in your printer. For example, if you have an A4 document, you can scale it to fit on 8.5-by-11-inch paper.

  1. Choose File > Print.
  2. If you see a Show Details button, click it.
  3. Click the print options pop-up menu (within the separator bar), then choose Paper Handling.
  4. Select “Scale to fit paper size,” click the Destination Paper Size pop-up menu, then choose your printer’s paper size.If you want to scale the document only because it’s too big for the printer’s paper, select “Scale down only.” (If this option is selected but the document isn’t too big for the paper you have, the document is printed at its original size.)

2. Take a picture of it using your phone and adjust the contrast/brightness settings so that the background is bright white and you no longer see the fleck (noise) of the paper.  It should look stark white against your dark, crisp signature.

3. Crop the image tight around the edges of your signature and save.

4. Email it to yourself at the largest size.

5. Open your email on your computer, Download the image to your computer and open it in Preview or any image-viewing program.

6. Adjust the size, so it’s about 600×300 (just get as close as possible).

7. Save it and upload it in the Clinic Info area (found at the top of your dashboard).

You may have to upload it twice for it to “stick.”
